The 14×5.5 recording custom stainless steel snare is one of Yamaha’s very finest. Designed with input from Steve Gadd, it breaks Yamaha snare convention; the centre bead is on the outside.
This gives this snare a more open, crisp, dry, and articulate sound and performance. This snare features a 1.2mm stainless steel shell, 45 degree bearing edges, 10 lugs, 2.3mm dyna hoops, Q type throw, DC3 butt plate, and a coated Ambassador head by Remo.
