Ayotte Elvin Jones’ Keplinger 14×6.5

Another legendary piece from Elvin Jones’ collection, is his Ayotte Keplinger Snare (#A9515). Made for Elvin by Ray Ayotte in 1999, this snare was in his legendary drum collection until we acquired it through Donn Bennett and Elvin’s wife Keiko. This snare is a fantastic piece of drum history and was manufactured during the Ray Era of Ayotte Drums. This drum is a 14×6.5 Keplinger steel shell, with Ayotte wood hoops and proprietary hardware.
